Palma, Spain

Ahoy! As our journey comes to a close, we find ourselves in the vibrant city of Palma, Spain, a destination brimming with history and culture. Join us as we embark on our final adventure.

Our day began with a tour to Sóller, a quaint town nestled amidst the mountains we had the privilege of visiting Can Det, a family-owned olive oil business where tradition and passion intertwine. We savored in a tradition lunch, and learned about the process of making olive oil from generations of experts.

After purchasing some olive oil we hit the town and did some shopping. We found some unique pottery that had to come home with us! Once our tour was complete we embarked on a hour long historic train ride back to Mallorca. This train has been running since 1912! We marveled in the scenery weaving through the mountains on the way back to the city.

Back in Mallorca, we marveled at the scenery and architecture. The vibrant streets were filled with shops and cafes. We walked to the massive Basilica de Santa María de Mallorca and were amazed at how many yachts were in the multiple marinas!

This was our first visit to Spain and we didn’t know what to expect. We were really impressed at how clean and nice everything was. We will absolutely be planning a trip back!

Our last night on the ship was filled with great food and laughter. We bid farewell to the amazing cruise staff after watching them in the “Hollywood Hiccups” show where they hilariously re-created iconic movie scenes. Unfortunately I didn’t have the happiest of endings on this trip. Sudden illness hit in the middle of the night. I was amazed at how swift and compassionate the overnight doctor was. Though I hope to never experience a stomach bug again, I am grateful for the exceptional care and support I had from Princess.

As we bid adieu to the ship and memories, I am filled with a sense of gratitude for the experiences shared. Though our voyage may have come to an end, the memories, laughter, and adventure will stay with us forever.
